Renowned Australian film critic Margaret Pomeranz delivered a brutal takedown of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.

The former star of ABC’s At the Movies, 78, tore up the reality show and wrecked the cast on Wednesday night.

Appearing in The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, Margaret called TV veteran Kerri-Anne Kennerley a “suspected war criminal.”

Subsequently, she began to question the entertainment level of the show.

“The show opens with the arrival of a celebrity in the African jungle… and suspected war criminal Kerri-Anne Kennerley,” she began.

“Contestants complete challenges to win rewards and this is where the show ramps up as they complete tasks that test their fortitude and mental acuity.”

‘But it’s the food challenges that the participants pursue. Like starvation becomes theater in a clever metaphor for success in showbiz.’

Margaret went on to claim that the show is based on “F-class celebs trying to stay relevant.”

“The show raises philosophical questions like when did this become entertainment, but it’s all fun.”

Meanwhile, Kerri-Anne sensational stop with the recent season of I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! after only four days in the jungle.

During her time on the show, she clashed with Domenica Calarco after refusing to participate in an eating challenge.

Angered at having to do three trials in a row, Kerri-Anne told her campmates she was leaving.

Kerri-Anne recently told That of the Daily Telegraph Sydney Confidential, she was upset about quitting the show in the first week, but said she was “great” living in camp with some of the “fantastic” famous faces.
