Maren Morris responded to the wardrobe malfunction she made during her performance at Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July picnic earlier this month.
The 34-year-old Chasing After You singer, who recently released a song about never wanting to fall in love again, joked about the incident on Wednesday by sharing it on TikTok.
In a now viral TikTok videoThe singer was seen belting out the lyrics to The Middle on stage, wearing a denim skirt with a daring, thigh-high slit on the left side, occasionally flashing his body to the audience, despite not wearing any underwear.
Morris responded to the clip by uploading a clip of her own in which she quickly took a selfie in a vehicle.
As Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s explicit track WAP (which stands for “Wet A** P***y”) played in the background, she added the lyrics, “Hey guys, did anything weird happen today?!?!!”

In the caption of the short video, Maren also jokingly writes to her followers: ‘I think I’ll frame the skirt.’
At the very end of the clip, she turns her head slightly and the text at the bottom reads: “anyway, stream intermission 5/2,” referring to her upcoming five-song project called Intermission.
She also took to the comments section to respond to a fan who wrote, “The only appropriate response.” Morris added, “I’ve had a baby. Nothing is more embarrassing.”
The star welcomed her four-year-old son Hayes with ex-husband Ryan Hurd in March 2020.
Other social media users praised Morris for her reaction to the wardrobe failure. One wrote: ‘The skirt was amazing, this reaction is amazing. Maren is always amazing.’
“The queen is UNBURDENED,” another shared, while a fan added, “I love you even more for this absolute legend.”
In addition to wearing a denim skirt during the performance celebrating the Fourth of July holiday, the mother of one also wore a black top.
For the finishing touch, she wore a large bracelet on her left wrist and statement earrings.

Earlier this year, in March, Morris accepted the 2024 Billboard Visionary Award and said in a effusive tone that it was an “honor,” but that he “doesn’t really consider myself a visionary.”

She took to her Instagram page after a concert in Phoenix, Arizona and wrote, “PHOENIX, AZ is happy to be the B in LGBTQ+, happy pride.”
Maren recently released the song I Hope I Never Fall In Love on July 12 and spoke candidly about the inspiration behind the song.
“The title says it all: I just went through a huge breakup,” she explained in a clip she posted to Instagram.
“I just don’t want to go down that road again, and I want to keep it casual, and just focus on the situation. You can scream the chorus, and I can’t wait to sing it live with everyone.”
