If Rashford gets through Saturday's session he should be available.
The attacker has done everything he can to return as quickly as possible, despite suffering heavily from the disease in recent days. He is desperate to help the team after missing the previous two games, both of which ended in defeat.
United's medics are now confident that Rashford is not contagious, allowing his return to the club's headquarters in Carrington.
On the NHS website, symptoms of Norovirus include: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, high fever, headache and pain.
