Marcus Rashford is left OUT of Man United’s League Cup squad to face Tottenham after bombshell admission he’s ready to leave Old Trafford… as Alejandro Garnacho returns to Ruben Amorim’s side

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has been left out of Ruben Amorim’s squad for the game against Tottenham on Thursday evening.

The Red Devils, who face Spurs in a crucial League Cup quarter-final after beating rivals Manchester City 2-1 on Sunday, will once again be without their top earner at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The £375,000-a-week star announced on Monday he is ready for a ‘new challenge’ away from Manchester United after 20 years at the club, just a day after being left out of his side’s dramatic derby win over City.

Alejandro Garnacho, who was also left out of Amorim’s squad against the reigning champions, has returned to the squad and was spotted with his Red Devils teammates as they started the trip to London on Wednesday.

Perhaps in an effort to keep a low profile, the 20-year-old Argentinian was pictured wearing a black beanie and a snood to cover his face.

Apart from his Manchester derby haul last weekend, Garnacho has plenty to celebrate after winning the FIFA Puskas Award for his astonishing bicycle kick against Everton at Goodison Park last season.

Amad Diallo, Sunday’s match winner for Man United, was part of the selection

Sunday’s match winner Amad Diallo was part of the traveling party alongside Casemiro, Harry Maguire, Manuel Ugarte and Antony, full of confidence after his sensational performance against the champions.

The 22-year-old winger inspired United’s late comeback with Bruno Fernandes’ 88th-minute equalizer before scoring the winner himself moments later, continuing his good form under the new manager.
