Ten Hag tried to publicly draw a line under the incident last month, revealing that Rashford had taken responsibility.
When asked whether Rashford’s behavior showed a lack of respect towards his manager, Ten Hag said last month: “I have nothing to do with that, but in football you need discipline and that is on the pitch, but also off it.” .
‘There is a line between, if every player, every professional knows this, what is needed. We have to concentrate on winning football matches and that is all that matters and every top professional knows what it takes.
