March Madness: UConn star Jordan Hawkins believes he played through FOOD POISONING

UConn star Jordan Hawkins reveals he thinks he played through FOOD POISONING in March Madness Final Four win over Miami, and slept on the bathroom floor after eating calamari!

UConn basketball star Jordan Hawkins has revealed that he went from sleeping on the bathroom floor to playing in the Final Four in the space of 36 hours.

Hawkins scored 13 points for the Huskies vs. Miami as they advanced to their first national title game since their victory in 2014.

The 20-year-old believes a dinner earlier this week was the cause of the illness, particularly a seafood meal he plans to never enjoy again.

“I had steak, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, calamari,” he said Saturday.

“That’s why I think it had to be the squid,” he said. “I love calamari too, I don’t think I’ll ever eat them again.”
