Manon Lagreve gives birth! Great British Bake Off star welcomes her second child and introduces newborn to daughter Fleur, two, in sweet clip

Great British Bake Off star Manon Lagreve announced on Sunday that she had welcomed her second child, a son, with husband Luke Bennett.

The French chef, 31, who starred in the series in 2018, took to Instagram to announce the happy news and the newborn’s name; Raphael Pierre Bennett.

The proud parents also captured the moment their daughter Fleur, two, met her brother for the first time, which they shared alongside the announcement.

The sweet video showed the toddler excited to meet her brother or sister as she climbed onto the bed to cuddle him.

‘Born on Easter Friday 29.03.2024, a healthy angel boy of 3.62 kg and 54 cm. Maman is doing well and we are all happy to be home as a four-foot family.

Manon announced the happy news that she was pregnant on Instagram in November, sharing a photo cradling her baby bump.

She wrote: ‘I have exciting news to share! Luke and I are expecting a new addition to our family.”

‘Fleur is really looking forward to becoming a big sister in the spring!’

She told Hello! Magazine of the second pregnancy: ‘Fleur is very enthusiastic. She says: ”baby in the belly” in French, and gives him kisses and pats.’

Manon married her partner Luke last June in a picturesque ceremony at a French chateau in her hometown of Louvigné-du-Désert.

The baker tied the knot with her British fiancé, with the couple’s beautiful daughter Fleur, who was 12 months old at the time, serving as flower girl.

Manon then took to Instagram to share an intimate look at her wedding, sharing a series of beautiful photos from their fairytale wedding and her breathtaking wedding dress.

The couple’s daughter, Fleur, served as flower girl on their special day, wearing a dress with “I love you Mom and Dad” sweetly embroidered in French on the back.

Manon was a beautiful bride in every way as she stepped out in a stunning off-the-shoulder white dress with cut-out bardot sleeves and white heeled sandals.

Luke popped the question in November 2020 while the couple was on a romantic trip to Barbados.

The French baker confirmed at the time that her boyfriend had ‘dropped down on one knee’ with a beautiful sapphire ring shortly after they arrived at their boutique hotel during the Caribbean holiday.

Manon admitted it wasn’t a surprise, saying: ‘We had been talking about getting married for a while. It was love at first sight…

‘After two weeks we were boyfriend and girlfriend and within four months I moved in with him. When you find the one, you just know.”

Manon and Luke’s wedding came after they welcomed their first child in June 2021.

She announced on Instagram at the time that she welcomed a “happy and healthy” baby girl named Fleur Camille on June 20.

The French baker also shared the first photos of the tiny newborn, including the first moment she gave her daughter skin-to-skin.

Manon wrote next to the trio of photos: ‘Fleur Camille Bennett.

‘Born on Father’s Day June 20, 2021, all happy and healthy. A little lady who surprised us when she decided to come! We already love her very much.’
