Evans Head NSW: Urgent search for man who inappropriately touched a young girl on the NSW far north coast

A manhunt is underway for a man who approached a teenage girl and inappropriately touched her in a popular tourist town.

Police said a 14-year-old girl was approached by a man who “touched her leg” before walking away in Evans Head on NSW’s far north coast.

The incident happened Wednesday around 2 p.m. along the Evans River waterfront near Elm Street.

The police have started an investigation into the incident.

The man is described as being of Asian appearance, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 170cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and acne scars.

He was wearing a T-shirt and black shorts.
