The Manhattan grand jury investigating a $130,000 payment made by former President Donald Trump to porn actress Stormy Daniels to prevent it from being made public is not expected to hear evidence for the rest of the week, sources told DailyMail.com .
Following news of the delay, Trump’s attorney Joe Tacopina hopes the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office will reconsider the potential charges.

“And you’re not impeaching a president for the first time in the history of this country in a case that will never get to the bottom,” Tacopina tells Dailymail.com exclusively.

The grand jury met Monday and heard testimony from David Pecker, a longtime friend of Trump and former CEO of the parent company of The National Enquirer; it was the first time the jury had met in the Trump case in a week.
It is not yet known when the panel might vote on a possible indictment against the former president, and any possible criminal charges will not be voted on until next week at the earliest.
