Mandy Moore showed off a large abdominal scar in a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Dr. Death, which was shared on her Instagram Story on Friday.
The 39-year-old artist, who recently opened up about working after the birth of her second son, lifted her shirt and showed off the cut to her 5.5 million followers, adding a text image that read “also ick.” Iykyk.'
It turned out that the prosthetic scar was done during production of the show's second season, in which she will appear.
Moore was also spotted Friday afternoon shopping before Christmas in Studio City.
The artist stayed comfortable in a black sweater and loose-fitting jeans while out shopping.

Her voluminous dark brown hair fell to her shoulders and matched the dark shade of her clothing.

The show is based on the podcast of the same name and originally premiered on Peacock in July 2021.

The first season of Dr. Death followed the case of Christopher Duntsch, a former neurosurgeon who mutilated and killed several people under his care.
The second series of episodes will focus on Paolo Macchiarini, an Italian surgeon who was convicted of experimenting on his patients.
In addition to Moore, Edgar Ramirez, Ashley Madekwe and Luke Kirby will also star.
The second season of Dr. Death was released in full on Peacock on Thursday and currently sits at an 80% rating Rotten tomatoes.
