She wrote: ‘8 weeks PP. First time she’s worked out in months, it already hurts.[‘
This comes after Mandy revealed she’s ‘relishing’ her longer maternity leave with second son Ozzie – after rushing back to work following first son Gus’ birth.
The actress who welcomed her second child with husband Taylor Goldsmith, 37, on October 21, said she didn’t get the chance to ‘hunker down’ with first son Gus, returning to work on This Is Us a month after his March 2021 birth.
Speaking to Parents Magazine, she said: ‘To be able to close out this really seminal chapter of my life with This Is Us this past May and take this time now to kind of just hunker down and be a family, it’s something I didn’t get to experience with Gus. I’m relishing this time.”

Again, especially around the holidays, it’s so fun and it’s the perfect excuse to just stay home and be cozy and get my feet underneath me and figure out how to operate in this new chapter.
She added that Gus has been a model big brother thus far, saying: ‘The second we brought Ozzie home, he just wants to kiss him. He wants to be close to him. If he’s at the park with my husband and I’m home with the baby, he’s like ‘home Ozzie.’
Moore played family matriarch Rebecca Pearson in the Emmy award-winning show. The family drama played six seasons on Peacock until its finale.
The last season premiered in January 2022.
The A Walk to Remember star married Goldsmith in 2018. For over a decade, he has been the lead singer and guitarist of American folk rock band Dawes.
The couple met online on Instagram in 2015, just a few months after her divorce from estranged husband Ryan Adams, with whom she was married to for six years.
Moore had posted one of her current husband’s songs, revealing she was a fan of his band Dawes. They began messaging after and bonded over their shared love of music.
The relatively low-key couple quietly got engaged two years later. In November 2018, they held an intimate wedding in the actress’ backyard in Los Angeles.
They had their first son in February 2021. August Harrison Goldsmith, nicknamed Gus, who will be turning 2 in February 2023.
