Mandy Moore confirmed in a heartwarming Instagram post on Wednesday that she welcomed her third child, a girl named Louise Everett.
The 40-year-old actress announced the exciting news to her 5.5 million-plus followers by sharing a black-and-white photo of herself holding her newborn baby shortly after birth.
In the photo, taken by her doula Rebecca Coursey, she is seen beaming with joy as she holds her baby girl and looks up at her husband Taylor Goldsmith.
“Lou is here! Louise Everett Goldsmith arrived happy, healthy, fast and just in time for Virgo season,” she captioned the post. “She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are just as obsessed with her as we are.”
The Golden Globe nominee continued, “Endlessly grateful for our family of 5 (and our own big three) and loving every moment of this special time.”

In addition to their daughter, Moore and Goldsmith, 39, are also parents to two boys: 3-year-old August “Gus” and Oscar “Ozzie,” who is almost 2.
In late May, Moore announced her third pregnancy on Instagram in a joint post with Goldsmith, the lead singer of Dawes.
“Sometimes life imitates art,” she wrote in the caption of a post in which their two sons wore T-shirts that read “Big” and “Middle” Sibling.
“The third of our own Big Three is coming,” she added. “I can’t wait for these boys to have a little sister.”
The parents welcomed their first child in February 2021 and their second in October 2023.
Shortly after Goldsmith spoke glowingly about Moore in his Mother’s Day tribute, they announced they would soon be welcoming a new member of the family.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing wife,” he wrote on Instagram.
“It’s the hardest job there is, and you’re the best at it. And thanks for booking all the doctor and dentist appointments. I love you.”

He also dedicated his message to his mother, who joined Moore and the children on their walk on Sunday.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my mom,” Goldsmith wrote. “You can’t be a great grandma without being a great mom. I love you.”
He also wished ‘all mothers and expectant mothers’ a happy holiday!
In mid-August, Moore responded to her words, telling Us Weekly she was full of praise for her husband, saying she knew he was “the one” she would marry and start a family with.
