Manchester United winger Antony has returned to training for the first time since allegations of domestic violence.
The 23-year-old returned on Tuesday from South America, where he was on full paid leave following allegations that he assaulted three women.
Antony’s last appearance for United was against Arsenal on 3 September.
He voluntarily met with Greater Manchester Police for questioning on Thursday. He was not arrested or detained and went home without restrictions.
Antony also trained at Carrington on Saturday after watching United’s defeat to Crystal Palace.

United cleared Antony to return to first-team duties, with the women’s team also informed of his return to training base.
United said in a statement that Antony’s situation “will be monitored pending further developments in the case.”
The statement read: ‘Since the allegations were first made in June, Antony has cooperated with police investigations in both Brazil and Britain and continues to do so.
‘As Antony’s employer, Manchester United have decided that he will resume training at Carrington and be available for selection while the police investigation continues. This will be monitored pending further developments in the case.
‘As a club we condemn violence and abuse. We recognize the importance of protecting everyone involved in this situation, and acknowledge the impact these allegations have on survivors of abuse.”
Antony’s ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin – one of the women who made accusations against him – broke her silence on the situation.
‘Gabriela Cavallin’s lawyers say that the crimes committed by the player are still being investigated by the Manchester Police and also by the Brazilian Police. Therefore, we believe that he will soon be sent to court where he will have to appear before the judge’ read a press release.
“It seems clear to us that fallacies would be created with the intention that the team would bring him back to training.”
United’s next match is at home to Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday.
