  • Fiorentina wants around 30 million pounds for the 26-year-old Moroccan international

Sofyan Amrabat has expressed doubts about a transfer to Manchester United this summer.

United are expected to make an official offer for the Fiorentina midfielder once they have agreed a deal to sign Rasmus Hojlund to Old Trafford for £72m.

However, Amrabat insists he can stay with the Italian side next season and admits he ‘doesn’t know if he will leave’.

The Morocco international was asked about his future on Tuesday following Fiorentina’s 4-0 win over Serie D side Grosseto in a pre-season friendly.

And was hesitant in his answer. “I don’t know if I’m leaving… maybe I can stay here with Fiorentina,” he told assembled media.

Later added, “I don’t know, I could stay.” The Red Devils have yet to submit an opening bid for Amrabat and will first have to move a few players.

Donny van de Beek, Fred and Brandon Williams are all deemed redundant and attract interest from other clubs.

United have recently entered talks with Real Sociedad over the potential sale of Van de Beek, as they expect a better offer from Galatasaray for Fred after rejecting an undisclosed bid from the Turkish side last month.

Leeds United are also considering making a bid for Brandon Williams as they look to re-establish themselves in the Premier League.
