Manchester United striker Antony has been left in shock after crashing his £100,000 BMW on a motorway on New Year’s Eve following Man United’s 1-0 win against Wolves, according to reports.
Sun claim the 22-year-old crashed his BMW X6 into roadworks on the M56 near his home in Hale, Greater Manchester, while driving in ‘wet’ conditions.
Police were called to the location where the £80m winger “passed a breathalyzer test” before his car was recovered, with the newspaper stating that “no one else was involved in the incident”.

A source for The Sun said: “It was dark and wet and he made an error in judgement.
“He was in shock but luckily no one else was involved and he was not injured.”
Antony, who arrived at Old Trafford earlier this summer, was absent from Man United’s 3-0 win against Bournemouth on Tuesday, but returned to the fold on Friday to score the opener in the Red Devils’ win for 3-1 against Everton. .
