Manchester United staff were angry and frustrated by YouTuber Speed’s performance during a post-FA Cup final following the win over Manchester City.
Speed, real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr, was a guest of Alejandro Garnacho at the after-party at the Marriott Hotel in Mayfair, but Mail Sport can reveal his presence did not go down well with large sections of the club’s non-playing staff.
In the latest example of growing unrest among United employees, sources say staff were saddened by the presence of 19-year-old Speed, who was seen partying with United’s players as they were unable to celebrate the win at Wembley because they were not invited.
United had previously held a staff afterparty after the cup final, but this was one of the benefits that Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group scrapped as part of their cost-cutting efforts.
It is not clear how Speed got a ticket for the final. Seats on the United side at Wembley were allocated and sold exclusively to season ticket holders who had purchased at least five cup games the previous season.

Man United held a party after beating Man City to win the FA Cup, but staff were not allowed to attend
Speed does not have a season ticket and is believed to have previously secured tickets for matches at Old Trafford through partners and sponsors.
The American YouTuber and rapper, who has more than twenty million followers on social media, was involved in a heated argument with another United fan at Wembley and was later assaulted by City supporters after leaving the stadium.
Many United employees were already unhappy that the club was doing away with their traditional cup final benefits, which included a free ticket, travel and meals, and a post-match party.
For the City game, staff were only offered one ticket each and told they would have to pay £20 for a bus to the stadium, with no free food.
The mood among employees was further soured on Tuesday when staff received an email inviting them to resign, after which Ratcliffe instructed all staff to return to the office by June 1 or ‘find alternative employment’.

It is expected that up to a fifth of its 1,100 employees could go to United to save money.
