Manchester United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Irene Guerrero on a permanent contract.

The 26-year-old joins the club after starting her career at Real Betis, before moving to Levante and most recently plying her trade at Atletico Madrid.

Guerrero was also part of the Spanish team that won the World Cup last month, beating England 1-0 in the final in Sydney.

“I feel very lucky and very privileged to be here,” Guerrero said.

“I am very proud to be part of the Manchester United family and look forward to achieving all our goals together.”

Manchester United have signed goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce on a permanent basis for around £100,000.

The 26-year-old joins from OL Reign after a previous spell at French Division 1 Feminine club Reims.

Phallon Tullis-Joyce said: “Today was pure excitement for me. Manchester United is such a historic club, which has already done so much in women’s football. I am so honored to have this opportunity.”
