Manchester United supporters have been left puzzled after the club posted a video of Cristiano Ronaldo getting loudly booed before their loss to Brighton on Sunday.
Erik Ten hag’s reign at Old Trafford started with defeat as Pascal Gross scored a first-half brace for the Seagulls before Alexis Mac Allister scored an own-goal.
Ronaldo was included in the squad to face Graham Potter’s side and he came off the bench to replace Fred after 53 minutes.

Prior to kick-off, the Portuguese star was loudly booed by supporters and a video has been posted by the club’s official Twitter account, leaving fans puzzled.
One fan posted: ‘Cristiano Ronaldo just got booed by the Stretford End. You love to see it.’
A second fan simply said: ‘they posted the boo’s’, while another wrote, ‘Damn, they booed him’.

After the match, Ten Hag urged the 37-year-old to ‘do more’ to get up to full fitness.
The Dutchman told Sky Sports: ‘It takes time, you cannot force it. He is one week in training.
‘He has to do more to get fit. This game will help and he will be better next week.’
