Manchester United will try to move Joao Felix away from Chelsea when his loan deal ends this summer, according to reports.
The 23-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge on loan from Atletico Madrid in January in a deal that does not include a purchase option for Graham Potter’s team.
Despite this, the club are hopeful of signing the Portuguese international once his loan deal expires, with former Blues star Frank Leboeuf suggesting the club could ditch Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount to make way for Félix.
However, Félix’s brilliant performances in an otherwise struggling team have prompted United manager Erik ten Hag to keep a close eye on his situation.

In an interview with the London Is Blue Podcast, the former Benfica star detailed his plans for the future. “For now I am on loan at Chelsea, so I don’t know the future yet, but I am here and I see that it is a great club with a great project.
“I know Chelsea are a great European team, I feel it and I can see it.”
Chelsea brought the Portuguese international on a short-term loan deal that does not include a purchase option.
Félix joined Chelsea on a short-term loan deal in January, with the club paying Atlético a £9 million fee for his services.
The Portuguese striker made an unfortunate start in west London, picking up a red card and a three-match ban on his Premier League debut when the Blues lost to Fulham.
However, goals in draws with West Ham and Everton have endeared Felix to Blues supporters, and his teammates are also hopeful a permanent move can be secured.
