Manchester United minority owner INEOS wants to sell sister club Nice.

As reported by The independentIt is expected that both clubs will be given a transition period of one season by UEFA to compete in the Europa League.

Earlier this year, INEOS bought a 27.7 percent stake in United and they are keen to oversee significant changes at the club.

Ratcliffe is determined to restore United’s status as the dominant club in English football, even though there is still a lot of work to be done at Old Trafford.

Complications surrounding multi-club ownership have prompted INEOS to sell Nice as they will join United in the Europa League next season.

Nice could participate next season by being placed in a ‘blind trust’, but that would not be the case for future campaigns.

Last season, Nice finished fifth in Ligue 1, collecting 55 points from 34 games.
