Manchester United legend Gary Neville joins NBC Sports’ Premier League coverage for 2024-25 season

Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has signed a contract to join NBC Sports as a contributor to the network’s Premier League coverage.

Neville, one of the most popular analysts in English football, will share his insights each week, starting on Friday when the 2024-25 season kicks off with United taking on Fulham.

Neville played his entire career at the Old Trafford club and is now reunited with his former teammate and DailyMail.com columnist Tim Howard in NBC’s coverage.

Howard, Rebecca Lowe and the rest of the NBC crew traveled to the UK for on-site shows during opening weekend.

Neville will make his debut on Premier League Live on Friday and will then feature in coverage every Sunday throughout the season.

The 49-year-old defender retired in 2011 after a glittering career with his boyhood team, during which he won the Premier League 12 times and the Champions League twice.

He played 52 times with the former United States goalkeeper between 2003 and 2006 before

Neville, who also played 85 times for England, has since developed into one of the most influential football analysts on Sky Sports.

Earlier this week he reacted fiercely after a clip surfaced online in which he accused Arsenal of having “no strategy”.

The clip sees the former United defender speaking to Sky Sports after the Gunners were beaten 2-0 by newly promoted Brentford on the opening day of the 2021-22 season.

Since then, Mikel Arteta has guided Arsenal to second place twice, but when the footage resurfaced three years later, Neville slammed his critics with a six-word message on social media.

He said, “Congratulations on your success, well done,” adding a trophy emoji at the end of his response.
