Manchester United legend Patrice Evra clashed with Manchester City staff after the Blues’ Champions League victory over Real Madrid.

Dressed in an all-red suit, the former defender was working as a TV pundit at the Etihad on Wednesday evening.

But Evra was involved in an altercation with City coaches on the pitch after the final whistle and had to be calmed down by Pep Guardiola’s assistant Manel Estiarte.

The fight took place as City players celebrated beating Real Madrid 4-0 to win 5-1.

Evra, 42, protested at Estiarte near his former teammate Rio Ferdinand and his BT Sport colleagues.

Evra later told CBS Sports, “He looked at me, he was like ‘this is for you!’ This is for you!

So I approached and asked him why he was so agitated and he said ‘no because last year on TV you said they [City] cheating themselves, that’s why they lose’, and this year they didn’t cheat themselves.

“That’s the truth Micah [Richards]! You know I’m an honest man, I’m straight and after he apologized.’

City’s assistant manager held the Frenchman by the arms and seemed to manage to calm him down.

The pair then shook hands before going their separate ways.

Jamie Carragher, working as a pundit for CBS Sports, described Evra’s appearance on their channel after the game as “a colorful cameo.”

Carragher accompanied his Tweet with a red-face emoji, a smiling emoji, and a poop emoji.

Evra had joined the CBS team, with host Kate Abdo, Carragher, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry, for an impromptu stint as a post-game pundit.

City dismantled Real thanks to a brace from Bernardo Silva, an own goal and Julian Alvarez’s late goal in the dying minutes.

Pep Guardiola’s team, which has never won the Champions League, will face Inter Milan in the final in Istanbul on June 10.
