Manchester United have secured the biggest kit deal in Premier League history after announcing a new 10-year partnership with adidas worth £900 million.
The new deal extends United’s link with the German sportswear giant as their official kit supplier until 2035 and guarantees a significant raise under current terms, earning the club £90 million a year.
United sources say the deal gives them security of the club’s biggest source of revenue for the next decade, bolstering the club’s stability.
A statement read: ‘Adidas and Manchester United Football Club are delighted to announce the renewal of one of the most exciting, groundbreaking partnerships in the world of sport.
Manchester United entered into a historic agreement with adidas at the start of the 2015/16 season, reuniting after 23 years. In the seasons that followed, adidas and Manchester United thrilled fans around the world with forward-thinking initiatives, iconic on-pitch designs and fan-favorite cultural apparel.
