  • United are eager to strengthen their attacking options for next season

Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani, with the Eintracht Frankfurt striker saying he dreams of playing in the Premier League.

French international Kolo Muani has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the 24-year-old, who is reportedly valued at £105 million, indicated he would rather play in England.

“It’s not just because you come from the Paris region and grow up there that you should automatically play for PSG,” Kolo Muani told Canal Football Club.

Honestly, who doesn’t dream of playing in the Premier League? It’s one of the best competitions out there. You dream about it. These are childhood dreams.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is eager to bolster his side’s attacking options

“But I’m not looking for the perfect club or the best club in the world. I’m really looking for the club that gives me the chance to express myself, earn playing time and most importantly let me grow.’

Having previously played for Nantes, Kolo Muani signed for Frankfurt last summer and has had an impressive first season with the club, scoring 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 games.

Kolo Muani was also involved in France’s World Cup campaign as they reached the final.

“He has a long-term contract. My absolutely ideal scenario would be for him to stay with Eintracht.’

United are eager to bolster their attacking options this summer as Erik ten Hag looks to add more firepower to his squad.

This season, United have scored 58 goals in the Premier League, the lowest return of the top four and well below Manchester City’s tally of 94 goals.

Marcus Rashford has made an important contribution and Anthony Martial could stay at the club, but United need more support in attack, especially as Wout Weghorst has been unable to make a significant impact since joining Burnley on loan.

Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but Real Madrid are also interested in signing the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

Kolo Muani has also reportedly offered himself to Real Madrid.
