Manchester United fans have slammed the club after reports emerged linking the Red Devils with a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi and urged United not to sign the Argentinian.
Icardi is currently training away from the PSG squad after new coach Christophe Galtier confirmed they are encouraging him to find a new club.
And, according to Argentinian outlet TyC Sports, United are interested in a move for the 29-year-old, while Turkish side Galatasary are also keen on the striker.

The transfer for the controversial striker, who is never far from the headlines, would be a loan with an option to buy as Erik ten Hag continues his quest to add a striker.
However, as the reports emerged, United fans were left furious over the potential signing as some questioned whether the club was trying to harm itself.

Another wrote: ‘Honestly this is too funny. I can’t comprehend why in hell would United want to do this.
‘You don’t even need a scouting department or a brain to know that you can’t have Icardi and Rabiot both in the team it is going to be so damn toxic.’
A third United fan ripped into former United players Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba and fired a dig at the Glazers. ‘This guy makes Pogba and Lingard look like ultimate professionals.
‘@ManUtd don’t even bother to back their lies. “Believe it if you want or don’t we’ll keep lying.” #GlazersOut #GlazersSellManUtd.’
Others on social media directed their anger at football director John Murtough.
‘Apologies owed to John Murtough. Claimed on the latest pod that there isn’t a transfer strategy at United. Not true. Clearly it’s to swing every t**t in European football.’
Icardi was left out of PSG’s squad for their Ligue 1 opener last weekend as Galtier’s side dispatched Clermont Foot 5-0.
His wife and agent, Wanda Nara, has already reportedly met three times with Galatasary officials, as the Turkish side chase his signature.
