Manchester United fans’ celebrations almost took a nasty turn when a billboard collapsed under the weight of them as they celebrated their team’s third goal at Nottingham Forest.
It came after the United players went to celebrate after Fernandes’ 89th-minute finisher from Anthony Elanga as United won 3-0 at the City Ground in the first leg.
But as cameras panned to the celebrations in the stands, United fans ran downstairs as the billboard collapsed.

For a moment it looked like it was going to get ugly, but the board was quickly put back together with the fans doing their best not to spill onto the field.

He said: ‘It’s not nice to see that for a moment or two, but it looks like everyone is fine.’
Fernandes’ last-minute goal sealed a convincing victory for United, who took a three-goal lead back to Old Trafford.
Forest look down and out of the tie, with the East Midland side going after an excellent solo shot from Marcus Rashford after just six minutes.
Steve Cooper’s team thought they had equalized through Sam Surridge, but the striker had drifted slightly offside and was ruled out by VAR.
Moments later, January signing Wout Weghorst doubled United’s lead just before half-time to score his first goal for the Red Devils.
If United can confirm their place in the Carabao Cup final, they will face either Newcastle or Southampton.
