Bruno Fernandes appears to be a serious doubt ahead of the Manchester United v Tottenham game after a photo released by his wife shows him wearing a protective boot.
The Portugal international looked set to take a beating in the first half of United’s penalty shootout victory over Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
Fernandes remained on the field until the 101st minute, when he was replaced by Wout Weghorst.
Ana Pinho, Fernandes’ wife, has since posted a photo to her Instagram story on Monday night that will really worry United fans as they look to finish in the top four.

Fernandes was seen limping out of Wembley on Sunday, raising concerns for the Portuguese midfielder.
His wife’s photo would suggest that Fernandes is unlikely to play a role against the Spurs on Thursday night.
United boss Erik ten Hag will hope the midfielder doesn’t miss much time, with the Red Devils six points ahead of Spurs in the battle for the Champions League qualifiers.

The Red Devils already have injury problems with Lisandro Martinez out for the rest of the season, while central defender Raphael Varane is also currently sidelined.
Fernandes had rediscovered his form this season after the appointment of Ten Hag.
