Teenager Kobbie Mainoo continued his stunning rise to fame by earning his first call-up to the England squad after an impressive breakthrough season at Manchester United.
The 18-year-old was initially left out of Gareth Southgate’s squad announcement for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.
But the late call-up offers a chance to impress before the European Championships in Germany this summer.
And it’s not the only surprise.
Fans were also stunned to discover the midfielder is the brother of Love Island star Jordan Mainoo-Hames.

Jordan appeared in the fifth season of Love Island in 2019.
The 28-year-old entered the Mallorca villa in week three of the British reality show.
He quickly struck up a relationship with fellow contestant Anna Vakili before the pair broke up when he started eyeing India Reynolds.
As a result, Jordan was removed from the show via a public vote.
He now works in fashion and has modeled for Vogue, Louis Vuitton and other well-known brands.
And despite the fact that both brothers have been in the news for a while, fans have only just noticed the connection.
Many people finally put two and two together after finding an old tweet from Jordan that read, “Proud big bro moment (really).”
That was when Kobbie made his United debut for the Under-18s three years ago.
