Manchester City are close to reaching an agreement to sell defender Sergio Gomez to Real Sociedad.
The City are negotiating a buy-back and resale clause in a deal worth around £8m.
Gomez, who previously played for Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund as a youngster, signed a four-year contract with City in 2022.
In total, Gomez made 38 appearances for City, winning the Premier League title twice and the Champions League.
However, he only started twice in the Premier League.

Gomez played for Spain in the Under-16 to Under-21 age categories and has been included in his country’s squad for the Olympic Games as an older player.
