A social media executive has berated influencers for making too much money after a young woman turned down a $30,000 shoot because she had a headache.

Venting via TikTok Zaneoswho owns Luxe Social, revealed that the young woman called off the shoot an hour before it was due to start.

At first he was compassionate because he thought something serious had happened.

“If I turned down a $30,000 shooting for six hours of work…I’d show up with 17 bullet wounds to my chest,” he said.

But this sympathy soon turned to outrage after she found out she was “fine and just had a little headache, so I went to call.”

“All she had to do was basically rock out, filming as much content as humanly possible in six hours. Then you bounce,” he said.

“It just goes to show how much money these girls make.”

He complained that the young woman’s actions had a knock-on effect on videographers, photographers and other crew members.

“And now I have to settle it with the af*** manager,” he added.

The video, uploaded Thursday afternoon, quickly went viral and has been viewed more than 700,000 times with more than 35,000 people clicking ‘Like’.

Some people slammed the influencer in the comments.

“I hope you sued her unless she had a serious problem and told you beforehand. That’s why I don’t hire them,” said one man.

Some even questioned her integrity.

“She didn’t have a headache, brother. She had a better deal to deal with,’ said one man.

But most seemed to be on her side.

“Taking as much content in six hours as is humanly possible? So it wasn’t as easy as just showing up,” one man added.

“If she had a headache, that’s probably the code for a painful period. Women’s bodies can’t always work around the male-dominated schedule,” one woman said.

While many others suggested it could be a migraine headache.

“I used to have severe migraines that left me totally crippled for days. Couldn’t stand light, smells or noise. The slightest movement made me very nauseous,” said one woman.

“I get migraines, but downplay it because I don’t want sympathy,” added another.

Some said the woman needed no excuse to cancel — and the salary reflects her value to the brand.

“They need her, she knows what she’s worth,” said one person.

“I like her, she realizes she comes first,” added another supporter.

The video is Zane’s most popular video to date, with his latest ‘most viral’ clip reaching just 35,000 views.
