Man who staged wife’s murder killed her on the day another woman reached out to reveal their affair

The woman who claims she unknowingly became the mistress of a Colorado man who faked his wife’s murder to look like an accident now says she spoke to the victim on the day of her death.

In a brand new interview with “Dateline,” Susan McBride says she approached Stacy Feldman, the Denver woman murdered by her husband, Robert Feldman, to let her know that he had cheated on her.

According to McBride, the call came hours before Stacy was killed.

In a clip of the interview released exclusively on DailyMail.com, McBride tells ‘Dateline’ correspondent Keith Morrison about her conversation with the late Feldman.

“I said, ‘My name is Susan McBride. You don’t know me, but I met your husband on a dating site called Tinder. He told me you had been divorced for quite some time. If you weren’t divorced, you would know that he you’re cheating,” McBride tells Morrison.

The “Dateline” correspondent has a visceral reaction to that news, responding, “oh boy.”

McBride went on to say Stacy responded and confirmed that she and Robert were not divorced, giving the unwitting mistress additional support.

“I wrote back and said, ‘I’m so sorry, Stacy. Here’s my number if you want to call me,” she said in the interview.

The two are said to have come on the phone and immediately discussed the situation.

The woman said she met Robert on Tinder and that he claimed to be divorced from Stacy. McBride said they were in immediate contact and there was a general feeling of aches and pains on both sides.

‘She was so sweet and kind. And she wasn’t angry. And she said, “I’m so sorry he did that to you.” ‘

Morrison then insinuated that this might not be the first time Stacy has dealt with Roberts infidelity.

“That almost sounds more like someone who knows this has happened before and this isn’t the first time she’s had to go through this,” he asks.

‘Right. And she said, “I’m done with him,” explained McBride.

Investigators said Robert Feldman strangled his wife while she was in the shower and then tried to stage the scene to make it look like she had slipped and fallen

McBride would never have spoken to Stacy or Bob again.

Months later, the woman came across Stacy’s obituary. Her death date? March 1, 2015. That same day she had started a conversation with the woman.

“I became physically ill, physically ill. It was just, it was like something out of a movie.’

The episode of ‘Dateline’ about the story will premiere Friday at 9 p.m.

Susan McBride, who says she unknowingly had an affair with married Robert Feldman, claims she spoke to Stacy Feldman the day Robert killed his wife

Robert Feldman was convicted of murdering Stacy after she confronted him about his affair. He strangled her in the shower and… then tried to fake his wife’s death to look like an accident.

In April, Robert was found guilty of first degree murder and given the mandatory life sentence without parole.

Robert, who shared two children with Stacy, was also found to have used his wife’s $750,000 life insurance payout to pay for his legal defense.

It took investigators three years to charge the Denver man with his wife’s murder, as… FOX 31 reported at the time that it took so long to find a medical expert who was willing to testify that Michelle died from strangulation, rather than from a slip-and-fall accident in the shower.

In the courtroom, Stacy’s mother, Dorothy Malman, urged the judge to rule for her daughter’s death.

“If you really loved your kids, you wouldn’t have killed their mother,” Malman said. “You wouldn’t have taken their mother from them. The only one you love is yourself.’

Stacy’s older sister, Susan Malman Altman, echoed her mother’s feelings, saying she fought long and hard for the verdict and sentencing.

“My sister deserves to leave in peace,” Altman said. “Instead of letting her go to be happy, he killed her.”

Stacy’s family hired a private investigator after her death to gather enough evidence to charge her husband.
