Police have released CCTV footage of a man running down the street at night in a popular beachside suburb that they want to question in connection with an alleged attempted assault on a woman.
The woman was reportedly approached while she was on Mitchell Street in Bondi at 3.40am on Friday.
Police have released images of a bearded, muscular man who may be able to help officers with their investigation.
The black-and-white footage showed the tall man bending over with a flashlight around his waist to tie his socks in the street.
He then turns and starts running down the path, past a small truck and a GoGet van parked in the road.
Authorities said the man in the video was wearing jeans and a white short-sleeved polo shirt.
“He is described as being white in appearance, about 30 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, muscular, with dark hair, dark eyes and a short beard,” NSW Police said in a statement.
