Man United winger Antony welcomes second child as he shares sweet video of his son meeting his new baby sister for the first time

Manchester United winger Antony has expressed his joy after he and his girlfriend Rosilene Silva welcomed their second child.

The winger shared a heartwarming Instagram post of himself holding his new daughter’s hand, as well as a video of his five-year-old son Lorenzo meeting his sister Lavinne.

The Brazilian wrote: ‘and after almost five years I could feel the same feeling… in the same way, in the same proportion!

“Thank you God for making me feel this for the second time! This is the most real experience of His presence.

‘Welcome my daughter. Thank you for making me feel that way again! You and your brother are the best part of me and the best thing I have!

‘Your discovery – and today your arrival – has given my life new meaning again, my princess! Daddy promises that he will be your protector and guardian here forever!

“Welcome Lavinne, daddy loves you and can’t describe the joy of having you here.”

Silva and Antony began dating in Brazil when the couple were teenagers.

The pair have fallen on hard times with Antony accused of assaulting his former partner Gabriela Cavallin.

Cavallin claimed the Man United striker attacked her while she was pregnant, damaged her breast implant, left her with cuts and threatened to throw her out of a speeding car.

United granted him a period of absence from the club on September 10 so he could address the claims – after he was also dropped from the Brazil squad while on international duty.

Returning to Britain on 28 September, he voluntarily attended an interview with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) – before the club announced he would return to first-team training.
