MAN UNITED RATINGS: Which 3.5/10 star is going ‘from bad to worse’? Who got a SHOCKING 2/10? And which two players at least managed a score of 5/10?

  • United were dominated by one of their arch-rivals and lost 3-0 to Liverpool

Manchester United were defeated by Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Two goals from Luis Diaz and one from Mohamed Salah ensured that Arne Slot’s men won the Premier League match 3-0.

United have won just one of their first three games and manager Erik ten Hag is already under the same pressure as at the end of last season.

The likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and other United officials looked on with a somber eye at the spectacle.

André Onana – 5

Liverpool had no chance of scoring as United’s midfield and defence gave up on him.

Noussair Mazraoui – 4.5

He was the only one to help United twice in the first half, but was nowhere to be seen when Diaz headed in the second goal.

Matthijs de Ligt – 5

He started his debut strongly but then struggled and was shown a yellow card for a foul on Diaz.

Lisandro Martinez – 4

Gave the ball away time and again in dangerous places. Stupid foul on Szoboszlai earned him a yellow card for almost an hour.

Diogo Dalot – 4.5

Tough for a right footer playing left back and almost impossible against Mo Salah. Had a hot time.

Casemiro-2

Guilty of giving the ball away for the first and second goals before being hooked at half time. Should have left this summer.

Kobbie Mainoo – 4.5

Monstered by Liverpool’s midfield, especially Gravenberch. Mac Allister picked his pocket for the third goal.

Alejandro Garnacho – 4.5

Was Diallo’s replacement, but could not get into the match and was replaced by the Ivorian.

Bruno Fernandes-4

Sloppy early passing set the tone for United’s captain, who however had no impact on the game at all.
