Sancho ‘in contact with Dortmund’

Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho has reportedly been in ‘regular contact’ with Borussia Dortmund over a return to the club in January.

Sancho is currently being kept away from the first team as he continues his stand-off with United boss Erik ten Hag, amid his refusal to apologize for his public comments against his manager.

The £73million winger was banned from United training after claiming on social media that he had been a ‘scapegoat’ and effectively called Ten Hag a liar after the defeat at Arsenal.

Man United could enter the defender market

Even if Martinez returns before the end of the year, United could be in the market for a new centre-back in the January transfer window – with Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite among the names on their radar.

Harry Maguire’s future will be up in the air again in January after he turned down a £30million move to West Ham last summer. Maguire has played more minutes for England this season than in his three appearances for his club.

Man United legend hits out at current star

Manchester United’s dreadful start to the season continued on Saturday with another desperately disappointing defeat and there was one player Peter Schmeichel was particularly unimpressed with.

United’s 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford was the fourth in seven Premier League games this season and equaled the dismal 1989 record that almost saw Sir Alex Ferguson lose his job.

Joachim Andersen scored the only goal of the match with a brilliant strike that saw boos ringing around the Theater of Dreams at the final whistle.

Ex-United star finds new club in Greece

An ex-Manchester United midfielder has found a new club in the Greek Super League almost two months after terminating his contract with Konyaspor after just nine days.

Man United wants to stamp out team news leaks

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on a new anonymous account on X – formerly Twitter – which is leaking first-team injury updates.

The account, which was created earlier this year, has quickly gained attention and a large following after being accurate on several injury posts prior to United’s official confirmation.

It has stopped posting on matchdays, but recently provided updates on Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Sergio Reguilon.

Valencia’s chef does not warn

Valencia have issued a ‘hands off’ warning to English clubs keen on emerging midfielder Javi Guerra, insisting they have no interest in cashing in on the transfer.

It is understood that both Manchester United and Newcastle have been eyeing the 20-year-old, who has a €100m release clause this season.

The many problems at Man United

Managing Manchester United is one of the toughest jobs in football and Erik ten Hag knows that all too well, given what he has on his plate at Old Trafford.

The Dutchman has struggled to catch a break as problems both on and off the pitch engulf the club.

United’s 1-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace was met by a boss chorus from the Old Trafford crowd, resulting in the side equaling an unwanted record that almost saw Sir Alex Ferguson lose his job as boss in 1989.

A growing list of injuries, off-field issues and the never-ending takeover saga are among the mounting problems.

Beckham greets Fergie

David Beckham has praised Sir Alex Ferguson for being a leading ‘father figure’ after helping nurture his skills during formative years at Manchester United.

The former England captain burst onto the world stage with United as a key member of the club’s Fables Class of 92′ and has since carved out a career as a global icon both on and off the pitch.

Beckham arrived in Manchester as a trainee in 1991 and immediately embarked on a path that would lead to him becoming one of Ferguson’s greatest ever talents.

A familiar face returns

Wilfried Zaha signed a five-and-a-half-year contract in January 2013 and would become Sir Alex Ferguson’s latest signing.

What would have been a welcome gift for his successor, David Moyes, turned into an unwanted asset for his compatriot, and later for Louis van Gaal. They soon cut their losses.

Ahead of tonight’s Champions League match, he couldn’t be less concerned, to use his own words, about his failure at Manchester United.

Man United takeover blow

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is considering abandoning his bid to take over Manchester United in favor of buying a minority stake, which would give the Glazer family control of the club.

In a shock move that would undoubtedly spark outrage among many United supporters, the petrochemical billionaire is considering a change of course in a bid to break the deadlock in what has been a laborious process now approaching its tenth month.

A spokesman for Ratcliffe declined to comment, but it is understood one of the options being explored is the purchase of around 25 percent of United’s shares.

Man United’s expected Premier League finish

The season couldn’t have started worse for Manchester United.

Their 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace was their fourth in their first seven Premier League games – meaning this is their worst start to the season in 34 years!

Opta’s AI supercomputer gave United a very good chance of finishing in the top four before the start of the season.

Now, their expected Premier League finish for United doesn’t make for great reading for Red Devils fans.
