Manchester United have added a fourth star to their list of ‘unsellable’ players following Saturday’s FA Cup victory over derby rivals Man City.
There are many issues to be addressed at Old Trafford after the end of the season, with manager Erik ten Hag set to be the future top of the pile, while recruitment is another top priority.
Ten Hag may have secured a career lifeline by leading United to their best performance of the season at Wembley and four of his players are now considered untouchable by the club, as reported by the club. Manchester Evening News.
A dreadful Premier League campaign – in which United recorded their worst ever result in the competition – has led to questions being asked about which players will still be at the club next season.
United are preparing for a massive sell-out in the summer, with Anthony Martial confirming his departure on Monday evening and other stars expected to follow him out the door.

United have already designated three youngsters as not for sale during the summer transfer window
FA Cup final scorers Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo are considered two players not for sale, while interest in Rasmus Hojlund will also be rejected.
Now it is claimed that goalkeeper Andre Onana has been banned from leaving United after impressing in the second half of the season during his debut year in England.
The Cameroonian has struggled to establish himself in Manchester after completing a £47.1million move from Inter Milan last summer and was in danger of losing his starting place.
Relentless mistakes in the Champions League were one of the main reasons for United’s abrupt exit from the group stages, while he also appeared to lack confidence in the Premier League.
However, Onana eventually began to demonstrate his shot-stopping abilities and produced another largely impressive performance in the weekend’s trophy win over Man City, despite a tame effort from Jeremy Doku.

Onana struggled to find life in the Premier League before scoring well in the second half of the season
Speaking to MUTV in early May, Onana revealed how he struggled to adapt to life in the North West of England but is now happy in his environment.
“When I look back on it now, I just smile because it was a big lesson for me. But at first I thought, ‘Wow, did I make the right choice?’ he said.
‘But I am absolutely 100 percent sure that I made the right choice because Manchester United is the bigger club in this country, it is one of the biggest clubs in the world.
‘Who would say no to come and play for this great club?’
