Manchester United have run out of patience with Anthony Martial and are reported to be selling him this summer.

The Frenchman has been unable to impress for Erik ten Hag’s side this season after a number of injuries and has played just 19 Premier League games.

Martial has been battling problems with his hip, hamstring, back and Achilles tendon this season and his future at the club looks questionable.

The 27-year-old gave Ten Hag no credit after being substituted for Wout Weghorst in Saturday’s crucial 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

As reported by The sunUnited will look to cash in on him this summer as the hierarchy has grown tired of it, and Ten Hag agrees.

The Dutch manager revealed that Martial eventually returned to the Bournemouth bench after walking straight through the tunnel in frustration.

“I think he played well, he returned to the bench, he’s okay,” Ten Hag told talkSPORT . “I think he just shot into the locker room, I don’t know what you want to make of it.”

Martial has scored eight goals and three assists in 27 appearances this season. The Frenchman still has a contract until 2024 and reportedly earns around £240,000 a week.

He has endured an inconsistent spell at Manchester after joining the club for an initial £36 million in 2015 and spending the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla.

Victory over Gary O’Neil’s side means United are poised to return to the Champions League next season ahead of Thursday’s clash with Chelsea.

Ten Hag added: ‘It’s a final on Thursday and I hope all the fans are ready because we want to get that done on Thursday. So we need another good performance and that will not be easy.

“You have to be ready, you have to be on the front foot, you have to be at the highest energy level. You have to concentrate.

‘And then you can. We know we are strong, especially at Old Trafford.’
