A Manchester United flop has scored his first goal in more than two years.
The player was on target in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
He endured a hugely frustrating time at Old Trafford before leaving United this summer.
During his time at United, the player was unable to make much of an impact.
However, he is now trying to get his career back on track.

Donny van de Beek got on the scoresheet with a composed finish from close range as Girona lost 3-2 at home to Feyenoord in the Champions League.
David Lopez gave Girona the lead before Feyenoord equalized through Yangel Herrera’s own goal.
The Dutch team then took the lead through Antoni Milambo, prior to Van de Beek’s equalizer.
Feyenoord then took a 3-2 lead thanks to another own goal, this time by Ladislav Krejci.
Van de Beek came over from Ajax in 2020, but found it difficult to get regular playing time.

Van de Beek scored from close range and found the net for the first time since May 2022
He made just six Premier League starts during his time at United and also struggled with injuries.
After a rental period at Eintracht Frankfurt in the second half of last season, Van de Beek left United permanently this summer.
Van de Beek’s last goal came in May 2022 while on loan to Everton when he scored in a 5–1 defeat to Arsenal.
