Former Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is in talks to join Real Betis.
The free agent has spoken to Sheffield United and Luton Town this summer as he was seeking a deal with a Premier League side.
Both Blades and Premier League debutant Luton have struggled to gain promotion to the top flight this season, scoring a combined 16 goals this season.
As such, they may be keen to plug any gaps in their hitherto leaky defense line, with free agents being the best source of reinforcement now that the transfer deadline has passed.
However, he is now discussing a move to LaLiga with Betis, who are coached by former Manchester City and West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini.

High-flying Championship side Ipswich Town, managed by former United coach Kieran McKenna, had also expressed interest in the 25-year-old former England U21 international.
Betis are seventh in La Liga after beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 last weekend.
Tuanzebe was sacked from United at the end of last season after graduating from youth academy in 2014 and working his way through the youth teams.
He played 37 games in the iconic red shirt, but played the vast majority of his football further away.
Three spells at Aston Villa on loan amounted to some 46 games, while Tuanzebe also spent time at Italian giants Napoli and Stoke City.
