Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer has refused to give an update on the timetable or any possible takeover bid on the club’s potential £7bn sale.
The Glazer family announced last month their intention to “explore strategic alternatives” at Manchester United, revealing for the first time that they would consider selling the club.
The Raine Group, which is acting as the Red Devils’ exclusive financial adviser, has set an initial price of between £6bn and £7bn, with the aim of completing a full sale in the first quarter of next year.

When asked about the takeover while watching the World Cup in Qatar, Glazer declined to give fans a specific update in a rare example of a highly criticized family speaking publicly about United.
