Santos striker Marcos Leonardo is drawing the attention of Premier League clubs with his performance for Brazil U20.

The 20-year-old scored three goals for Brazil in the first two games of the U20 World Cup in Argentina and will face Tunisia in the knockout stages tonight.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham have all eyed Leonardo in the past year and Santos expects bids in the coming days as his profile rises.

Leonardo has been compared in style to the Argentinian Sergio Agüero. Although he is not the biggest, he is strong, can finish both feet, is fast and skillful.

Chelsea scouts, who have been following Gambia’s Adama Bojang throughout the tournament, have also taken note of Leonardo.
