Manchester United ‘are ready to pay Harry Kane £300,000 a week’ if they can convince Tottenham to sell this summer…
- Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer Harry Kane a huge salary
- The Tottenham Hotspur striker could bring in around £300,000 a week at Old Trafford
- United will reportedly also offer Marcus Rashford the same wage package
Manchester United are reportedly poised to make Harry Kane one of the club’s highest paid earners by offering him a staggering £300,000 a week deal to move to Old Trafford.
Kane is currently on Tottenham’s books, but United have begun to pursue a deal for the England captain, with manager Erik ten Hag prioritizing bringing in a new striker in the summer.
The club have also offered to raise Marcus Rashford’s salary to the same amount they want to tie the superstar winger to a new long-term deal, according to The sun.
Rashford will enter the final year of his current contract at the end of the season and United are desperate for a player who has grown up in the club’s academy.
The extra money will reportedly be collected by David de Gea’s new contract, which will see him cut his weekly wages and lose his status as the team’s top earner.

De Gea’s proposed new deal would see his salary reduced from the current figure of £375,000 a week to a new offer of £200,000 a week.
That will free up more money for Kane if he decides to move to United, along with an increase in Rashford’s wages as the club look to reward him for his best year yet.
Rashford has scored 28 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season, helping them to a Carabao Cup title and FA Cup final during Ten Hag’s debut season.
Meanwhile, Kane has scored 26 goals in three tournaments with Spurs, but 24 of those have come in the Premier League compared to Rashford’s 15.
Reportedly, Kane will see his existing Spurs deal increase by £100,000 with the top 13-time English champions and Rashford’s will be similarly increased from £200,000 to more than a quarter of a million.
The English attacking duo meet at Old Trafford on Thursday evening, where Tottenham will try to undermine United’s Champions League qualification hopes.
That could be a dress rehearsal for Kane, who would be Tottenham’s most high-profile exit since Gareth Bale left for Real Madrid in 2013 for a then-world record.
However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could block any attempts by rival clubs for Kane and try to hold on to his prized asset at the risk of letting him leave for free in 2024.

Levy is a notoriously avid negotiator and brushed off Manchester City’s interest in Kane just two years ago.
However, should Tottenham fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League, it will put them in a position where they may need to raise more money through player sales.
Any deal for Kane would likely net the figure close to £100 million, despite the record-breaking England goalscorer turning 30 in July.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are still looking for a new permanent manager following the sacking of interim head coach Cristian Stellini on Monday.
