Rival Manchester United and Manchester City fans brawled in the streets of London ahead of the FA Cup final.

Video footage on X showed a group clashing at a bus stop in Station Road, Harrow ahead of the match at Wembley.

A shirtless fan was seen wrestling on the ground at a bus stop where traffic was at a standstill before more men burst in.

There were kicks and punches – and bottles thrown – during the shocking scenes in the hours leading up to the highly anticipated finale.

Chants of ‘United, United’ can be heard in the background as the scrap continued across the road as shocked customers looked on.

Nearly 90,000 spectators will be at Wembley for the highly anticipated final, a repeat of the same match last season, which City won 2-1.

Fans of both sides were allocated certain pubs to drink in in north-west London ahead of the match, but that did little to stop clashes in the streets.

Police were concerned about the prospect of violence between fans of the two Manchester clubs, as well as with Leeds United fans who gathered in London for Sunday’s Championship play-off final at Wembley.

This prospect was discussed at the safety meeting even before it was known that Leeds had reached the final.
