Man tests biohacker Bryan Johnson’s insane $2 MILLION anti-aging lifestyle for 75 DAYS to see if it’s really possible to defy death

A man who put millionaire Bryan Johnson’s age-reversing lifestyle to the test said he was amazed by the results – and saw the benefits almost immediately.

Fascinated by the tech titan and its use of biohacking, Andrew Boyd (23) decided to try the bizarre Blueprint diet and document his 75-day journey on his YouTube channel Project Andrew.

According to Andrew, who is from Chattanooga, Tennessee, he felt ‘amazing’ after just one week on the Blueprint Diet, losing an average of six pounds and achieving an average 95 percent sleep score, which inspired him to ‘ to continue for a further 75 days.

California tech mogul Bryan, 46, first made headlines earlier this year for his all-out quest to live forever, which included swapping blood with his father and his teenage son.

He reportedly consumes 80 vitamins and minerals a day, and eats 70 pounds of pureed vegetables a month; adhere to a strict 1,977-calorie vegan diet and adhere to a precise cool-down and sleep schedule.

Working with doctors and using the latest technology and treatments, his regimen costs about $2 million a year.

Andrew explained that he made some small changes to his version of the diet, explaining he was much younger than 46-year-old Bryan.

He also noted that he doesn’t have access to the same sources and medications that Bryan does, and some of the things he takes are on the ‘cutting edge of longevity supplementation’, and there isn’t always a lot of research done around their safety for long-term use .

Instead, he followed the meal plan using recipes from Bryan’s website, choosing the vitamins that fit his needs, spending about $112.34 a week on the food and supplements, and four hours a week of meal prep.

And was it worth it? According to Andrew it was.

“(I) felt incredibly focused and energized,” he admitted in the video. “I learned a lot through this experience.”

Andrew also said he lost almost 30 pounds, from 192 to 164 pounds and his body fat percentage dropped from 19 percent to 13.9 percent.

He shared the results of his toned new physique after 75 days on the diet

Andrew explained that he made some small changes to his version of the diet as he did not have access to the same resources as the millionaire biohacker

‘Blueprint is not about the exact diet, it’s not about the exact exercise protocol. It’s not about red light therapy or a bedtime routine or skin care,” Andrew explained.

Bryan eats a strict vegan diet, full of vegetables and no processed ingredients. Here are some of the meals Andrew included during his challenge:

The Green Giant

  • 20 ounces of water
  • 2 tablespoons of chlorella powder
  • 2.5 g of creatine
  • 20g of collagen peptides
  • 500mg cocoa flavanols
  • 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

Super Vegetables

  • 300g black lentils
  • 250 g of broccoli
  • 150g cauliflower
  • 50g shitake mushrooms
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2g ginger root
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Nutty Pudding

  • 50-100ml almond milk
  • 2 tbsp ground macadamia nuts
  • 2 tsp ground walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/3 Brazil nut
  • 1 tablespoon non-dutch cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon sunflower lecithin
  • 1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 cup berries
  • 2 cherries
  • 2oz freshly squeezed pomegranate juice

Stuffed Fries

  • 300g cooked sweet potatoes
  • 45g cooked chickpeas
  • 12 grape tomatoes
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 4 radishes
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 large jalapeno
  • 2 limes
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

To kick off the diet, Andrew began by preparing his food; using recipes from Bryan Johnson’s website.

‘On this diet, Bryan fasts intermittently. He eats all his food in a window of about six hours each day. That means he fasts for 18 hours every day,” Andrew explained.

Bryan starts each day by waking up and drinking the ‘green giant’, which consists of water, chlorella powder, creatine, collagen peptides, cocoa flavanols and Ceylon cinnamon.

He then has the ‘super veggie’, which consists of ‘huge amounts of broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, ginger, garlic and black lentils’.

“Definitely tastes healthy, but tastes good,” Andrew said after his first taste.

Bryan’s next meal is something called the Nutty Pudding, which, as the name suggests, contains lots of nuts topped with fresh strawberries.

His last meal was a sweet potato bowl, consisting of roasted sweet potatoes stuffed with chickpeas and avocado.

He then took on other parts of Bryan’s life, adjusting his sleep schedule (going to bed at 9:00 p.m. and getting up at 5:15 a.m.) and exercising intensely for an hour a day.

Although Andrew said he felt great after the 75 days, feeling leaner, sleeping better and having more mental clarity, he noticed some conflicting parts of the diet – like being in a calorie deficit and how it affects hormones influence.

“This is why Bryan supplements testosterone,” the content creator explained in the video.

‘It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I think correcting a problem with diet is probably better than introducing exogenous hormones.’

Andrew added: “Another thing I think is problematic with Blueprint is the number of variables the team is testing at all times.

“If Bryan is trying 15 different things in a given week, how can they be sure they’re not confusing what causes what?”

His final quibble was with some of the people who adopted Bryan’s diet and lifestyle with “religious zeal.”

‘The point is this, show me your data. Does Blueprint really work for you?’ he asked.

‘From my point of view, it’s not some faith-based protocol, but there is a growing number of people in the community who are starting to deal with it that way.’

He said that while the diet was worthwhile for many reasons, ‘it’s extremely difficult to prioritize your health to the level that Bryan Johnson does’.

“(Especially) in a world where everyone is doing the opposite,” he noted.

In 2012, profits soared with Braintree’s $26 million acquisition of Venmo, and was bought out by PayPal for $800 million the following year.

He has since developed a company aimed at improving the quality and access to high-tech brain scans meant to spot oncoming diseases early, earning him a mountain of revenue to put towards his health efforts, such as devices to measure nocturnal erections and a blood plasma exchange with his teenage son.

His quest for youth began in 2020, and has since spent an estimated $6 million.
