A man has been stabbed at a shopping centre on the New South Wales Central Coast.
The victim was stabbed as he walked to the car park of the Erina Fair shopping centre on Terrigal Drive in Erina on Monday evening at around 7.20pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene and treated the man for stab wounds to the left side of his chest and left arm.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
New South Wales police have launched a manhunt for his attacker, who they say is white, 5ft 9in tall, has a muscular build and tattoos on his right arm.
At the time he was wearing long, dark trousers, a black shirt, black shoes and black headphones around his neck.
“We would advise anyone who knows this man not to approach him themselves but instead to call Triple 0,” a New South Wales Police spokesperson said.
“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.”
