Wild moment man with ‘an injured foot’ is pinned to the ground during dramatic citizen’s arrest after being accused of stealing money and tools

Dramatic footage shows the moment a man is forced to the ground during a citizen’s arrest after being accused of stealing tools and money.

The extraordinary incident took place on Thursday at Moss Place in Westmead, in Sydney’s west.

The video shows a trader and a woman talking heatedly to the alleged perpetrator, who is wearing a black hat and a backpack.

The professional blocked the alleged perpetrator from leaving.

“Don’t touch my pussy,” the alleged perpetrator said.

He then crossed the street with the craftsman and woman following him. The woman accused him of taking money.

“I didn’t bring anything,” he replied.

The craftsman and the woman grabbed the alleged perpetrator, after which another outburst of insults ensued.

The video showed the alleged perpetrator being pushed to the ground

“I don’t know him… look at me!” he said.

Moments later, the alleged perpetrator was seen pinned to the ground as bystanders rushed to the scene.

“I finished the fight and now this guy attacks me, jumps on me and says I did all this shit,” he screamed.

“I didn’t steal anything… I didn’t do anything.”

“Sit down and wait for the police to come,” said a male voice off-screen.

“Take it easy,” added a woman in red.

A struggle ensued when the alleged assailant tried to fight off the craftsman sitting on top of him.

“I’ve got a sore foot!” he shouted. “I’m going to attack that bastard.”

“Are you hurt, buddy?” asked the woman in red.

“Yes,” he replied.

The alleged perpetrator stated that his foot was “already injured.”

He then turned on the tradesman, claiming that if he hadn’t been injured he wouldn’t have let him “take s*** off me.”

Moments later, the alleged perpetrator was seen sitting upright in the road.

“There’s nothing on the camera,” he said.

“Shut up!” the professional shouted, prompting another foul-mouthed response from the alleged offender.

The alleged perpetrator was questioned by a NSW police officer

The alleged perpetrator began insulting one of the women, saying he had seen her in “the brothel,” and then threatened to charge her with assault.

He was later seen talking to a police officer in front of an apartment complex.

“They say I stole something,” he told the officer. “I have a wounded foot. I didn’t steal anything. I have a broken foot.”

A New South Wales Police spokesperson said they responded to reports that a man was ‘ got into a nearby vehicle and attempted to steal belongings before fleeing.

“No arrests have been made yet, but the investigation is ongoing.”
