A Pennsylvania man has penned a heartbreaking tribute to his ‘incredible wife’ who died unexpectedly just days after giving birth to their second child.

Jennifer Krasna, 30, of Newtown, died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on November 28, according to her obituary. No other details have been released.

The first teacher and her husband, Jesse Krasna, welcomed their newborn son, Cade, four days before his death. She also leaves behind a two-year-old son, Ty.

‘She loved being a mom. Seeing her smile hugging Cade for the first time is something that makes me happy,” wrote Jesse, 31, in an emotional Facebook post that was shared on Tuesday.

‘The bond Jenn and Ty have formed over the past 2 years will never be broken. [There] there was so much joy written on his face when he spent time with him.’

The father recalled how Jenn planned “fun things” for his older son to do and loved spending time with him.

“Nothing got in the way of her being the best mom she could be,” she shared. “She always said that she wanted to give Ty a brother close in age so they could be the best of friends and she made sure to do that before she left us.”

Jesse said he met Jenn in high school, when he was a senior and she was a junior. They spent more than 13 years together.

“The first thing I noticed was that she would light up each and every room she walked into with her green eyes, blonde hair, beaming smile, and adorable chin,” he wrote. “We were at a campfire in the dark, but she couldn’t stop looking in her direction because of how beautiful she was.”

“She always said she wanted to give Ty a brother close in age so they could be the best of friends and she made sure she did that before she left us,” Jesse wrote of his late wife.

He explained that after meeting her, he realized that she was just as beautiful on the inside. He described her as the ‘best teammate’, a ‘great friend’ and the ‘best teacher’.

Jesse noticed that she drove over an hour to work every day, but refused to move to a closer school because she loved her students at Charlestown Elementary School in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

“Simply put, she wasn’t just a really good girl. She was the perfect girl and I am going to miss her so much,” she wrote. “The only consolation I have is that I know how lucky I am to have been able to love and feel love from Jenn for the past 13+ years. A love that will never stop. Watching Ty and Cade grow up will serve as a reminder of how perfect she was.

Jenn was also loved by her friends, fellow educators, and students.

She worked for the Great Valley School District for eight years and taught first and second grades, FOX affiliate WTXF-TV informed.

“The community is shocked that something like this would happen unexpectedly,” director Chris Pickell told the station. “Jenn would always do anything to help someone, and she loved her kids in her class.”

Pickell described her as “magical in the classroom” and said that she “had a bright smile on her face” whenever he saw her.

Jenn’s best friend, Brianna Plaxe, organized a GoFundMe page to raise money for Jesse and his two children after his death.

Plaxe said that Jenn was an “incredible mother, a devoted wife, a beloved daughter, a passionate teacher and an irreplaceable friend” who was “taken from us far too soon”.

“She brought love and joy to her entire family,” he added.

The fundraiser was flooded with donations and tripled his goal of $50,000 in just three days. So far more than $265,000 has been raised.

‘Jesse is overwhelmed by the love, support and generosity of his family, friends and community. Many, many thanks to everyone,’ Plaxe wrote in an update on November 30.
