The US-based content creator revealed that the small lines are made by drug users wiping their needles

In the clip, which has been viewed more than 6.7 million times, Dane shares a photo of a toilet roll with small pin pricks in the side.

He then uses a green screen to project his face over the image as he reveals his thoughts.

The social media star states: ‘If your toilet paper looks like this in a public toilet, you need to get out as soon as possible.

‘If you look closely, you can see a lot of little red blood spots. That’s not because of someone’s nosebleed or a minor accident.

‘It comes from someone who cleans their needles, dirty needles to be precise.

“We don’t know if this was one person or multiple people cleaning their needles after injecting drugs.”

He continues, “Keep in mind that if you use this toilet paper to clean yourself, it only takes one tiny drop of blood to enter your system.

‘You can easily contract a lifelong virus, such as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C and hepatitis B.

The revelation left viewers stunned as one wrote: ‘This is my sign to never use public toilet paper again’

‘It’s just really sad to see public toilets being used as a cleaning place for people’s dirty needles.

‘And if you accidentally used this toilet paper, your chances of contracting HIV would be quite low, as this statistic says that one in 300 healthcare workers accidentally holds a needle from someone with HIV becomes infected.

‘However, for hepatitis B the risk can be up to one in three if the employee has not been vaccinated.’

Dane concludes: ‘That said, if you see a roll of toilet paper that looks like this in a public restroom, immediately alert the staff to have it replaced and stay as far away from it as possible.’

He uploaded the clip with the caption: “Share this with family and friends, it could save their lives!”
