See the crazy moment when a man tries to fend off three suspected intruders with a kid’s scooter as a stolen car crashes through the windshield

One man single-handedly fought off three alleged intruders of the home with a kid’s scooter, while another perpetrator in the group crashed a supposedly stolen ute through the house in a violent burglary incident.
The 49-year-old victim was allegedly stabbed in the stomach on Thursday afternoon during the savage confrontation at a house on Logan’s Bahrs Scrub south of Brisbane.
Footage of the three men, two of whom wore bright orange hi-vis shirts, showed them huddled and trying to get away from a glass front door.
Two of the intruders took turns trying to brute force open the door when the homeowner waved the scooter at them.
One of them was wearing a black face covering, black shorts and black slippers when he tried to break the door open with his shoulder.

Another intruder in gray, black and white pants tried to push past the victim before taking a running start toward the door.
But he fell back when the door still wouldn’t open.
He then hit the man in the head in the house after the resident ran over and attacked all three with the scooter.
As the fight continued inside, a reportedly stolen Ford Ranger smashed through the large windshield next to the door, dislodging the frame and sending broken shards and debris flying.
The intruders eventually managed to kick in the front door and escape.
A vehicle was seen taking off as the resident ran after them, still clutching the scooter while screams could be heard in the background.
Logan detectives investigating the violent home invasion confirmed that a man was stabbed in the incident before being taken to Logan Hospital.
Officers said three people broke into Bahrs Scrub’s home at 215 a.m. on Thursday, May 18.
“A 49-year-old man confronted the group before a physical altercation took place in which he suffered a stab wound to the stomach,” police said in a statement.

A waiting Ford Ranger, stolen from Algester on May 17, then drove into the front of the house and caused damage.
‘The group then got into the car and drove off.’
The brave victim remains in a stable condition.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Detectives call on anyone who has information, relevant camera images or dash cam images in the area at that time to report.
