‘Man, I’m fucking working’: The internet is torn by a viral video of the Steelers’ Mike Tomlin BRUTALLY shutting down a fan at halftime of the Falcons’ win… so you think the coach was wrong?
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin let a fan have it during halftime of Sunday’s game against the Falcons, despite the fan wishing his team luck.
In the tunnel at halftime, a fan saw Tomlin walk by as the head coach read something from a piece of paper.
‘Coach Tomlin, we’re going for the winner!’ the fan said to the coach, giving him a thumbs up.
Tomlin was abrupt and direct in his response, telling the fan, “Man, I’m fucking working,” before walking off without a word.

Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin had a curt reaction when a fan wished him luck in Atlanta.
Social media was divided in their reaction to the coach’s response, with some praising his competitive spirit and others feeling the need to remind Tomlin who pays his salary.
Media personality, Pittsburgh native and former NFL punter Pat McAfee, welcomed the coach’s actions, saying, “Hahahaha mannn… I LOVE Mike Tomlin… BLOCKED.”
Pittsburgh area radio host Colin Dunlap downplayed the incident, saying: ‘This is not a big deal. It just isn’t. That being said, I don’t understand why Mike Tomlin didn’t just walk right by and say zero.
Others on Twitter felt Tomlin shouldn’t behave this way, with one writing: “These people need to remember they’re not that different than actors – WE pay their paychecks as fans.” If it wasn’t for America caring about what they do, enjoying watching them play and buying tickets to their games and wearing their jerseys, they would be working regular jobs like us.”
Fans on social media were split on Tomlin’s behavior, with some criticizing his behavior.
Tomlin was busy trying to keep his team’s 16-6 lead at the half in check and making sure they stayed focused to try and win their fifth game of the season.
They gave up ten points to the Falcons, but gained three in the second half to escape Atlanta with a 19-16 victory.
With that win, the Steelers move to 5-7 on the season, but remain last in the notoriously tough AFC North.
